Our History
Since 2014, the core team of analytical chemists at PPB Analytical Incorporated have been providing method development and testing services as an internal control service center and on-demand service to customers of Spectralab Scientific looking for validation testing and support to maintain continuous operations while instruments were being serviced or repaired.
In 2021, PPB Analytical launched as an independent operation to provide analytical testing services with a strong focus on servicing the needs of the Cannabis industry. In May of 2022, we received our analytical testing licence for cannabis from Health Canada and our Pathogen and Toxin licence from the Public Health Agency of Canada. In December of 2022 we received ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation from the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation (CALA) in December of 2022 for Environmental testing of soil and water. Our efforts for excellence in testing proficiency will not stop here and our licence for Drinking Water Testing is on the horizon.
With our focus on Cannabis, Environmental, and Microbiology testing services, we support clients in the private, academic, and research sectors. Located in North York, Ontario, PPB Analytical occupies a 25,000 sq. ft. modern laboratory facility that houses a full range of analytical instrumentation for your testing needs. Our experts include an experienced team of analytical chemists and microbiologists holding advanced degrees (Masters and Doctorates) in their respective fields. In addition to analytical testing, our team of experts can also help with sample purification, stability testing, investigative services, method development, method validation, and much more.
